Arbitrators’ Formal Dinner 2024

What a memorable evening it was at the SCMA Arbitrators' Formal Dinner! 

We were honoured to have SCMA Chairman, Mr Chao Hick Tin SC, address our esteemed SCMA arbitrators while sharing with them some of SCMA's future plans. Our distinguished Guest-of-Honour, Justice Philip Jeyaretnam, also delivered an engaging opening address on the need for arbitrators to be heedful of 3Ps - Predisposition, Preoccupation, Presumption. Justice Jeyaretnam's light-hearted delivery certainly set a positive mood for the rest of the evening!

A big thank you to all the SCMA arbitrators who joined us, making the night truly special with great food and wonderful conversations. Your presence made the event not just a gathering, but a celebration of our collective efforts and dedication to elevating SCMA to greater heights.
