Called to the Singapore Bar in 1975 and admitted to practise in Western Australia and the Australian Federal Court in 1996.
Practised as a specialist maritime and insurance litigator for more than 20 years, appearing as counsel in arbitrations, court trials and appeals, in cases involving, inter alia, charter parties, letters of credit, performance bonds and international trade. In 2007 commenced practice as a professional arbitrator.
