SCMA Arbitrators' Representative Council (ARC)

The Arbitrators' Representative Council (ARC) provides a collective voice for SCMA arbitrators, offers guidance on best practices, and contributes to the ongoing review of the SCMA 4th Edition Rules. As part of SCMA's ongoing engagement efforts, SCMA organised a workshop "Avoiding Common Pitfalls in the Making of Arbitral Awards" for its panel of arbitrators and is looking to conducting workshops on current issues on an annual basis.

SCMA Member's Consultative Council (MCC)

The Members' Consultative Council (MCC) focuses on enhancing the value of membership and broadening SCMA's reach across shipowners, charterers, P&I Clubs, insurers, traders, and law firms. This year, we introduced the Corporate Plus Membership, which allows existing Corporate Members to extend SCMА membership to their affiliated entities and overseas offices, enabling these affiliates to enjoy SCMA membership benefits at a preferential rate.
