Denys Hickey
Barrister
Over thirty years legal experience with a strong reputation for arbitration and dispute resolution work. Denys is very well known for oil and gas, metal and other commodity trading work. His upstream oil and gas work has included advising on FPSO agreements, Supplytime charteres and LNG vessel charters. He has also advised on various aspects of offshore construction joint ventures, the financing of refinery projects, disputes relating to offshore oil and gas projects, oilfield redetermination problems and pipeline construction disputes. He also has extensive experience of shipping and shipbuilding disputes as well as marine and energy insurance matters.

Extensive experience of dispute resolution, international arbitration and mediation. Arbitration experience includes ad hoc arbitrations and also arbitrations under ICC, LCIA, UNCITRAL, LME, GAFTA, FOSA and LMAA rules as well as ad hoc arbitrations. Denys has sat as an arbitrator and mediator, and has considerable litigation experience covering the entire spectrum of his practice areas.
