He has more than 2 decades in legal practice as a maritime/shipping disputes lawyer.  He has handled cases and appeared as counsel in the Singapore Courts and before arbitral tribunals on a wide variety of maritime/shipping disputes including charterparty disputes, shipbuilding and shipmanagement disputes and commodities/international trade disputes involving, for example, the SIAC, SCMA, ICC, LMAA, GAFTA and PORAM Rules.
