- Panel of arbitrators with clear CVs to help choice of arbitrator
- Freedom of choice of arbitrators whether on or not on panel
- Freedom to agree fee with arbitrators
- Freedom of choice of legal representative
- Freedom to choose law of dispute
- Singapore location and judicial place of arbitration unless parties choose elsewhere
- Asia time zone
- Responsive to needs of the whole maritime community whether cargo owner, charterer, or shipowner, whether shipyard or ship buyer.
